
Hirusha Adikari
Hirusha Adikari is a Melbourne-based cyber security student and practitioner working across cloud security, networking, IoT, web development and security operations. He studies Cyber Security at Deakin University, where he also works as a research assistant.
His work spans privacy-preserving machine learning and machine unlearning, BLE and UWB security for connected devices, and L4S network optimisation using telemetry and machine learning to improve queue management. He also works on automating SOC investigations. He has built and deployed secure cloud platforms, Cloudflare, and DevSecOps, and helps run CTF infrastructure for cybersecurity communities like DUCA and ACUCyS.
Hirusha enjoys working on security problems that sit between software, networks, hardware, and AI, then turning that research into practical systems.
