CyberCon 2026 returns to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, one of the Southern Hemisphere's premier event facilities, right in the heart of South Wharf.


The Home of CyberCon 2026
The MCEC is a purpose-built convention facility set on the banks of the Yarra River in South Wharf. With floor-to-ceiling windows, state-of-the-art AV, and multiple hall configurations, it provides the ideal backdrop for Australia's largest cyber security conference.
Getting there
The MCEC sits right in the middle of Melbourne's transport network. A short train, tram, walk, or rideshare from wherever you're coming from.
Train
Alight at Southern Cross Station. It's about a 10-minute walk to the venue, or jump on tram 96, 109 or 12 to Stop 124A for the Clarendon Street entrance.
Tram
Routes 96, 109 and 12 stop directly outside at Stop 124A (Clarendon Street entrance). Routes 70, 75 and the City Circle stop at Spencer Street or Flinders Street, a five-minute walk from the venue.
Bus
Route 237 from Southern Cross Station stops at Eighteen Pence Lane/Lorimer Street, approximately 10 minutes' walk to the Convention Centre Place entrance.
car
Wilson Parking offers secure underground parking directly beneath the venue. Additional parking is available at South Wharf Retail, Siddeley Street, Freeway and Montague Street car parks.
Taxi / Rideshare
Taxis and rideshares can drop off and pick up at the Convention Centre Place entrance.
Bike
Bike hoops are available at the South Wharf Promenade (Exhibition Centre) and along Convention Centre Place (Convention Centre).

Wheelchair Access
Accessible toilets, ramps and lifts are available throughout the venue, including lift access from the car parks. To hire a wheelchair, contact the MCEC Customer Service team.
Hearing Assistance
Most session rooms are equipped with TTA hearing assisted telephones. Hearing assisted devices are also available to hire. Contact the MCEC Customer Service team in advance to arrange.
Vision Impairment Support
Braille signage is on all room doors and fixed directional signage throughout the venue. Guide dogs and registered assistance animals are welcome in all areas.
