The Art of Locksport
Locksport is the recreational study and practice of understanding how locks work and how they can be opened through skill, patience, and precision.
Participants challenge themselves by learning hands-on techniques such as lock picking, lock bumping, and other skills traditionally associated with locksmiths and security professionals.
The Locksport Village invites you to drop in, try something new, and explore a fun, tactile, and thought-provoking workshop environment.
Open to everyone, the workshop lets you explore the art of locksport at your own pace, with guided support across a range of locks, from simple one-pin models through to challenging six-pin locks with security pins.
Inside the workshop
Experienced trainers will be available to explain key techniques, help you understand the mechanics inside each lock, and support you as you build confidence through practice.
Interactive displays and hands-on stations give you a clear view of what is happening inside the lock as you test your skills.
The workshop is designed for exploration, collaboration, and shared learning, creating a welcoming space for curious beginners and returning enthusiasts alike.
