Dan Xu is CEO of Cyberoo.AI and a long-time practitioner in banking, cyber security, and fraud prevention, with over 18 years of experience across financial institutions and scam-related risk environments. His work has focused on phishing, digital risk, scam detection, and the operational challenge of turning suspicious signals into evidence, intelligence, and action.
At Cyberoo.AI, Dan leads the development of anti-scam capabilities spanning explainable scam verification, intelligence mapping, and multi-channel disruption of phishing and impersonation infrastructure. He is focused on helping organisations move beyond reactive reporting towards more structured and operationally effective scam prevention.
In parallel with his industry work, he has published research in leading journals on cyber security and related areas, bringing both operational and research perspectives to the design of more structured approaches to scam prevention and response.
