Charles Wale

Charles Wale is a seasoned cyber security professional with over 25 years of experience across various sectors including Finance, Manufacturing, and Government. Charles started in the City of London performing ICT and information security audits and consulting to international financial institutions. He moved to Australia in 1999, working with many of Australia’s largest companies in roles that include ICT auditor, managed service provider, and ICT and cyber security consultant.

For over ten years, Charles has been an active IRAP assessor, evaluating and advising a diverse range of organisations and government entities on the IRAP framework. He regularly provides commentary on updates to the Information Security Manual (ISM) and is the founder and convenor of the Unofficial IRAP, PSPF, ISM, & E8 Interest Group and the Unofficial IRAP Assessors Group on LinkedIn.
