Zubair Baig is currently an Associate Professor, Cyber Security, with the School of Information Technology, Deakin University, Geelong, VIC, Australia. He has authored/coauthored over 135 journal and conference papers and book chapters. His research interests are in the areas of cyber security, the IoT, machine learning, digital forensics, and optimisation algorithms. He has worked on funded research projects in the field of AI and cyber security for over 20 years and was a nominee for the AISA cyber security researcher of the year award in 2022.

Naeem Syed is a lecturer in cyber security, with the School of Information Technology, Deakin University, Geelong, VIC, Australia. He is an academic and researcher with over 17 years of experience in both academia and industry, specialising in cybersecurity, IoT security, networking, and network security. He brings together practical and theoretical knowledge to cyber security teaching and research.
