Vel is a Senior Systems Engineer at Atlassian, working within the Trust organisation's Systems Engineering team based in Sydney. Over the past four years, Vel has been responsible for building, operating, and scaling the security platforms that underpin Atlassian's Trust capabilities.
His work spans ensuring the availability and value of the platforms and services that security relies on, such as the threat intelligence platform and network and endpoint detection tooling deployed globally, as well as building and maintaining golden configurations to deploy security tooling consistently at scale.
