Taher Elgamal
Dr. Taher Elgamal is an internationally respected information security leader and cryptographer. He was the recipient of the lifetime achievement award from the RSA conference in 2009. He has successfully served as CISO, Chief Scientist, CTO, and as founder and CEO of numerous key organisations.
Dr. Elgamal invented several industry and government standards in data security and digital signatures for areas including the DSS government standard for digital signatures. He is recognised in the industry as the "father" of SSL.
