Professor Savitri Bevinakoppa is an academic, researcher, and educational leader with more than 36 years of experience spanning academia, industry, and research. She holds a PhD from Victoria University, Melbourne, where her research focused on still image compression on parallel computer architectures. Her expertise encompasses information and communication technology (ICT), networking, cyber security, data analytics, image processing, and engineering education.

Throughout her career, she has contributed to advancing knowledge and practice through teaching, research, curriculum development, and academic leadership.

Professor Bevinakoppa has authored numerous books, book chapters, and peer-reviewed publications, secured industry-funded research grants, and led multidisciplinary research and collaborative initiatives. She has also served in leadership roles for national and international conferences, contributing to the dissemination of research and the development of professional and academic communities. Her work continues to focus on fostering innovation, industry engagement, and excellence in higher education and applied research.
