Dr Ruwan Nagahawatta is a Senior Lecturer at the Sydney International School of Technology and Commerce, Melbourne, and a researcher within the Digital Transformation theme at the Deakin SME Research Centre. He previously served as a Research Fellow at CSIRO Data61 and as a Cyber Security Researcher at the RMIT University Centre for Cyber Security Research and Innovation.

His research focuses on cloud security, human-centric security, and the safe adoption of emerging technologies. He has published in leading international conferences and high-impact journals and actively contributes to the cyber security community through peer review and program committee roles.
