Robert Salier
Robert Salier is an independent cyber security consultant and advisor with over 30 years of experience across the IT and telecommunications sectors, having worked domestically and internationally in roles spanning from computer programmer to market and product strategy. With a BSc (Hons) in Digital Electronics, a BSc in Computer Science, and an MBA in Technology Management, he combines deep technical foundations with business acumen, a commercial and strategic mindset.
Since 2018, Robert has focused almost exclusively on cyber security, deeply involved in network monitoring equipment, threat detection tools, and managed security services for enterprises and government agencies. Robert is the founder of Holistic Cyber Australia, bringing experience and learnings from the "big end of town" to small and medium size organisations.
An advocate for independent, unbiased security governance, Robert focuses on identifying security gaps, evaluating and managing vendor relationships, developing and executing roadmaps that align with their specific commercial goals.
