Rawson Wade
A senior security engineer at Modern 42, Rawson leads a team of specialist Microsoft Entra software developers and engineers that configure and build secure IAM ecosystems for federal government, state government and the health and banking sector. His day-to-day work across complex authentication, workload identities and CIAM gives him the kind of deep domain knowledge that also makes him curious about where things break. That curiosity drives his part-time security research into Microsoft Entra ID, where in 2025 he identified vulnerabilities in MFA enforcement and device compliance bypasses. Rawson regularly publishes research articles and blogs, and collaborates with colleagues from across the globe to improve the everyday security of large Australian enterprises.
