Manager Cyber Security Governance, Risk and Compliance
Women's and Children's Healthcare Australasia

Ravishel Naicker is a Cyber Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Manager at Women's and Children's Healthcare Australasia (WCHA), a national NFP organisation supporting healthcare improvement across Australia and New Zealand. In this role, Ravishel leads the organisation's cyber security governance function, managing IT projects, driving compliance against the ACSC E8 and ISO 27001, and reporting to board on cyber risk posture and security maturity. He specialises in translating complex technical risks into clear, actionable insights that enable leadership to make informed decisions even within the constraints of limited budgets.

Ravishel's career spans the banking and insurance sector, higher education, and healthcare giving him a broad perspective on how organisations of varying size and maturity approach cyber security. This cross-sector experience, combined with deep technical involvement is what positions him uniquely as a bridge between the technical and the boardroom.

Having built his foundation in hands-on technical security before moving into governance and risk, Ravishel understands what practitioners need on the ground and what boards need to hear and how to close that gap effectively, regardless of budget.

He holds a Master's degree in Cyber Security with research in AI-driven automated penetration testing, alongside CISM, CRISC, PMP, and CEH certifications.
