Praveen Gauravaram

Dr Praveen Gauravaram is a Principal Scientist at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) ANZ, where he focuses on shaping research and innovation-led cyber security strategy and translating emerging ideas into practical services and capabilities.

His work spans cyber resilience, operational technology security, digital trust, and emerging areas such as AI for cyber security. He has a particular interest in how architectural assurance can strengthen real-world security outcomes in complex operational environments.

He has led and contributed to major collaborative innovation programs across industry, government, and academia, including TCS partnerships with Deakin University through the Australian Economic Accelerator and the Cyber Security Cooperative Research Centre.

Praveen holds a PhD in cryptology from Queensland University of Technology and has worked across scientific, technical, and consulting roles in Australia, India, and Europe. His experience sits at the intersection of cyber security research, strategy, consulting, and applied innovation. He also supports business development by translating research and technical insight into client engagement, opportunity shaping, and strategic conversations with customers.
