Nick Vallianos
Nick is a Security GRC professional based in Melbourne, Australia. He currently works as a Lead Security Compliance Analyst for Zendesk, a US based customer service SaaS company. He leads security audits for a range of compliance commitments (SOC 2, ISO 27001, etc.), acts as a trusted advisor to business and technology teams, including implementation and/or enhancement of security controls to improve security posture and unlock new opportunities for the business to pursue.
Prior to Zendesk, Nick's experience consisted of working within the financial services and professional services industries. Some of Nick's major clients ranged from ASX 200 listed companies, large government bodies and energy companies.
Alongside his experience in Security GRC, Nick has worked in various areas of IT including operational roles and a range of security projects and engagements.
