Morshed Chowdhury

Dr. Morshed U. Chowdhury is a Senior Lecturer in Information Technology with extensive experience in teaching, research, and academic leadership. His research interests encompass cyber security, artificial intelligence, data mining, bioinformatics, cloud computing, the Internet of Things (IoT), radio-frequency identification (RFID), wireless sensor networks, and intelligent data analytics.

Dr. Chowdhury has made significant contributions to both fundamental and applied research, particularly in the areas of network security, cloud computing optimisation, intrusion detection, RFID security, machine learning, and smart systems. He has authored and co-authored more than 170 scholarly publications, with his work receiving widespread recognition and citations within the international research community. 

Throughout his career, Dr. Chowdhury has collaborated with researchers and industry partners on multidisciplinary projects addressing contemporary challenges in secure communication, intelligent computing, and data-driven decision-making. His ongoing research focuses on developing innovative and practical solutions that integrate artificial intelligence, cyber security, and emerging digital technologies to support secure, resilient, and sustainable information systems.
