Mary George is a cyber security PhD student and educator at La Trobe University with a strong passion for promoting cyber security and STEM pathways. She currently serves as President of the Women in Cyber Security (WiCyS) Student Chapter at La Trobe University, leading a vibrant student community and initiatives that foster a welcoming, diverse, and inclusive cyber security community.

She has participated in outreach activities across the University and at external events, including the 2024 Victorian It Takes a Spark conference, where she engaged high school students in exploring cyber security careers. Mary is deeply committed to teaching and student engagement, and her research interests focus on cyber security outreach and pathways, particularly how program design influences engagement and career intentions.
