Born and raised in Tel Aviv, Israel, Keren Elazari is an internationally recognized security analyst, researcher, author, and speaker.

Since 2000, Keren has worked with leading Israeli security firms, government organizations, big 4 and fortune 500 companies. Keren is an expert on emerging security technologies and trends and works as an independent strategic advisor for international tech giants and innovative startups.

In 2014, Keren became the first Israeli woman to speak on the main stage of the prestigious international TED Conference. Keren’s talk has been viewed by millions, translated to 30 languages, and chosen for TED’s ‘Most Powerful Ideas’. To date, Keren’s talk is still one of TED’s most watched talks on the topic of security and hacking.

Keren holds the CISSP international security certification, and a master’s degree in security studies. Keren is a senior researcher at the Interdisciplinary Cyber Research Center at Tel Aviv University, and the founder of two nonprofit community organizations: BSidesTLV, Israel’s largest hacker community - and the global Leading Cyber Ladies network, a global professional community for women in cyber security.

Keren proudly supports the HackeRiot.org initiative to make cyber security career paths accessible to women of all backgrounds.
