Jose runs an ISO certification body. I'll give you a moment to contain your excitement.

The backstory is more fun than it sounds. My dad was a clown with Cirque du Soleil, so I spent my childhood watching artists create magic in the mundane. After 10 years travelling with the circus, I ran away from Cirque to join the world of business, first building a travel app (before Vibecoding was a thing), then running travel agencies across Australia. Everywhere I went, I brought a passion to make people smile and leave things better than I found them.

Which takes me to ISO. I fell into the industry randomly while working in an Indigenous health community and fell in love with a simple idea: using certification as a force for good. When the owners of the certification body I was working with got approached by private equity, my courageous fiancee Talani talked us into matching the offer. Then we threw everything out and rebuilt it around a question this industry has never asked: what if every audit actually made things better?
