John O’Driscoll joined Medibank in 2024 and currently serves as Squad Lead – Group Risk & Compliance – Security, Data and Technology Risk. He has more than 35 years of experience in information technology, specialising in IT audit, cyber security and technology risk across financial services and the public sector. He previously served as Victoria’s first Chief Information Security Officer from 2017 to 2023.

John is Chair of the Cyber Civilian Reserve Advisory Board. He also holds ISACA certifications, including CISA, CISM and CGEIT, and is an inaugural Fellow of the Australian Information Security Association (FAISA).
