John Hare
John is an Associate Partner in EY's cyber security practice, based in Sydney. John provides strategic cyber security advice to many of Australia's leading financial services organisations. His recent work includes advising on uplifting supply chain risk management to meet emerging global better practice. This has involved working with Australian, UK and US colleagues to identify how leading organisations are transforming their supplier risk management programs and adopting new technology, including AI and continuous monitoring tools.
John is a former UK diplomat and mergers and acquisition lawyer. He has worked in cyber security for over a decade in consultancy, at a major bank, and as a regional executive for a tech company.
