
Jayden Cooke
Jayden Cooke is a Technical Director at the Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) with over a decade of government cyber experience and a focus on communicating the importance of cyber resilience across the whole of economy. He is one of the primary authors behind ASD's Modern Defensible Architecture (MDA) initiative, which is ASD's zero trust-aligned security architecture framework. Following MDA, Jayden has been developing the next evolution of ASD's Essential Eight framework.
With a diverse background spanning roles as a SOC engineer, security architect, and IRAP assessor, he brings a wealth of experience in demonstrating the importance of strategic prioritisation and aligning security outcomes with a business's goals and objectives. He has a passion for developing advice and guidance to empower people to uplift their cyber maturity, as well as a dedication to ensuring that ASD's technical advice is pragmatic and achievable.
