Grace Wright

Cyber Security Analyst / Consultant
Cythera

Grace Imani Wright is a cyber security professional with hands-on experience across multiple environments, including Security Operations, threat hunting, and detection engineering. She has worked in fast-paced 24/7 SOC settings, handling high-priority incidents such as phishing compromises, malware activity, and unauthorised access, while also improving detection through SIEM tuning and proactive threat hunting.

The interdependencies of systems and how they interact in the broader environment have always been something Grace has been naturally drawn to. This has led her to focus on security architecture. She has contributed to architectural projects and reviews, applying practical, experience-driven insights from operations to support stronger design decisions.

She is actively involved in the security community through AISA and SABSA events, and enjoys translating complex security concepts into clear, practical insights. Her focus is on bridging the gap between security operations and architecture, helping organisations move from reacting to incidents to designing more resilient systems.
