Gareth Smith is a cybersecurity leader with more than 20 years of experience across enterprise IT, cyber security architecture, Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and Operational Technology (OT).

He currently works across both IT and OT security architecture for a large multinational mining company, helping shape security strategy and architecture across complex enterprise and industrial environments. His experience spans most facets of cybersecurity, including infrastructure, networks, cloud, applications, security operations, risk and critical infrastructure protection.

Gareth is the Current President and founder of the ISA Australia Chapter and is actively involved in building capability and sharing practical lessons across the industrial automation and OT cybersecurity community.
