Frank Den Hartog

Frank den Hartog is a Professor at the University of Canberra, where he holds the Cisco Research Chair in Critical Infrastructure, and an Adjunct Fellow at UNSW Canberra. His work focuses on complex wireless networks, with particular expertise in the Internet of Things and Cyber-Physical Systems.

Before joining academia, Frank spent more than a decade as a Senior Scientist at TNO in the Netherlands and earlier worked with KPN, where he helped pioneer research in home networking and IoT. He has led major international research collaborations, published extensively, contributed to telecommunications standards, and is widely recognised for his work at the intersection of connectivity, innovation and critical infrastructure.
