Faraz Khan is a cyber security teacher at Victoria University and a 2025 International VET Practitioner Fellow with the International Specialised Skills Institute, supported by the Victorian Skills Authority. His fellowship project, Teaching the Future: Integrating Cyber Security into Education, explores international best practice in training educators to embed cyber security across curricula.

With experience spanning higher education, Defence training, and enterprise ICT environments, Faraz has led curriculum design and delivered hands-on cyber training. He previously served as Lead Technical Trainer supporting Australian Defence Cyber-worthy Fleet Information Environment project.

Faraz combines deep technical expertise with a passion for educator capability-building, focusing on practical, workforce-aligned cyber security education that strengthens Australia’s future-ready skills system.
