Fadzayi has been involved in and successfully concluded various engagements and projects including application security assessments, application penetration testing, CI/CD security tools integration, secure development training and DevSecOps. Her expertise extends across industries such as, financial institutions, medical & health care, education and information technology. With over a decade of experience in software engineering and agile practices, Fadzayi has played a pivotal role in fostering secure development within agile teams.

Fadzayi's previous experience in customer care and as a scrum master has helped her in leading numerous client meetings and workshops and ensures all keystakeholders of various audience type are well informed of the project requirements and expected milestones, outputs and deliverables.

As part of recognition of her contributions to the industry, Fadzayi has been nominated for various awards by organisations such as the Australian Women in Security Network for the Best Secure Coder award and WA Cyber Awards for the Volunteer of the year award. Fadzayi is also a co-host on the West Coast Cyber Podcast, a podcast dedicated to discussing cyber security current affairs in the world.

Over the years, Fadzayi has volunteered at events in the community such as Pecan+ annual CTF, Girls Programming Network and has previously started and successfuly ran a non-profit organisation for 3 years that taught young girls from disadvantaged communities robotics and programming. She has delivered talks and sat on panels at various conferences and meetups, these include, the WeAreDevelopers World Congress Berlin, AISA Melbourne, Google Developers Group Johannesburg, Cyber West Submit, Google DevFest South Africa and RedBull Basement Johannesburg.
