Daniel Castillo

Daniel Castillo is a mechatronics engineer turned cyber security specialist and Director of Skadi Solutions, delivering cyber security services to critical infrastructure and building automation systems operators.

His early career spans robotics and systems engineering across complex, highly regulated service environments, before deciding to dedicate himself to the world of enterprise IT and OT cyber security.

Daniel served as the OT specialist for the Australian Signals Directorate's Critical Infrastructure Uplift Program (CI-UP), supporting national resilience uplift initiatives. Today, he focuses on helping Australian critical infrastructure organisations build operational cyber security resilience that actually sticks-through practical architecture, fit-for-purpose controls, and strong collaboration between security, engineering, and operations.
