Asaf Ahmad

Asaf Ahmad is a cybersecurity strategist and governance leader with over three decades of experience helping organisations manage cyber risk, protect critical data, and build resilient digital ecosystems. His career spans leadership roles across government, critical infrastructure, and global technology organisations, including serving as Chief Information Security Officer at Fire and Rescue NSW and Senior Cyber Security Governance Officer for the Pacific region at Schneider Electric.  Asaf works at the intersection of cybersecurity, data governance, and emerging technologies, advising organisations on how to manage risk in an era shaped by artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and increasingly complex regulatory environments.He currently leads cyber and governance advisory initiatives through CyberEx and CyberGlobal Australia and plays an active role in professional development and standards through ISACA. Asaf is passionate about strengthening industry collaboration and building the next generation of cybersecurity leadership.
