Session Details

Data protection has been a requirement for as long as we've stored information digitally, and the challenges around governing the sensitive data have existed for just as long. Despite decades of tools and controls built to solve this problem, most organisations will admit they still haven't. If you ask a customer why their data project fell short, and ask the vendor the same question, you'll usually get two different answers. More often than not, both parties are right. This session brings Tim Roughton, of Concentric AI, and Jackie Orchard together, drawing on several decades of combined experience from both sides of that equation, for an open discussion on what has ultimately led to the success or failure of these data projects. Jackie will share candidly about how she has applied those hard-won lessons to drive real, practical change inside a complex, multi-jurisdictional enterprise.
